When I met Danielle and Aaron I knew this was going to be an amazing day. They are both such great people with HUGE personalities and just as much love. It’s not every day you see that. I make jokes about there being a “photo god” and he was definitely looking out for me that day. It was completely overcast. I honestly don’t think I could have asked for a better day overall, from the couple, to venue to even the reception lighting. It was PERFECT! Thank you guys for being so lovely. I love you both and your whole family!

Started it off by “officially” graduating from high school (even though I’ve been done for a year, I had to walk for mom). Had a little celebration but I left that early so I could photograph Christine and Pat, I am so happy I did. When I called Christine and we were doing some brainstorming, she said she wanted balloons in the shoot. My mind started racing from that moment on! I’ve been wanting to do a shoot with balloons for quite some time now so I was stoked! When I met them I could tell they were going to be a lot of fun to photograph. So happy and in love. It was so apparent. I could thank them a million times for dealing with me, I made them hike all around, chasing the light. And thank you Patrick for holding those balloons the whole shoot (hope your arm is ok). I am so excited for their wedding in October. I know we’re going to have a great time. I hope you guys love the photos. In my opinion the balloons were DEFINITELY worth it!

We hope everyone had a safe and fun weekend.

People have been asking “how did you spend your Fourth of July?” so Derek and I thought we would post early this week, we spent our wedding with a super cool group of people at The Four Seasons Hotel. We first met Jodi and Alan last year when they started planning their Vegas wedding, then in October we met again in my familiar land- Bay Area, CA to discuss their wedding. The deal was made, we were spending the Fourth of July with this couple. After their smokin’ hot e-session in February, we couldn’t wait.

So let me start by discussing the style of this wedding, Jodi is getting close to graduating college and she is all about fashion. One name for certain, Kate Spade. She spent lots of time on the details. While this wedding was held on a holiday, there was little red, white or blue. This wedding was all about black, white and yellow. From the flowers to the tables. Of course, she did throw in a little blue- blue Kate Spade heels and handbag.

This was a wonderful wedding, as one family member put, a long time in the making. So what an event it was. The weather gave us a little break and this party went all night. We left at midnight and the group was still willing to party. Hope everyone had fun, Jodi and Alan we look forward to seeing you during our next trip to the Bay.
