Sometimes I truely forget that I am a graduating senior. But when I get around these girls I remember, all the fun we all had the past 4 years. As highschool girls of course there was all sorts of drama but I’m happy to say at the end of the road, I was there to see them grow into such beautiful, caring young women. I am so excited to see where they go and where their lives take them. I know they’ll all be very successful and I couldn’t be happier to call them friends. Thank you guys for letting me take these photos. These will be timeless, one day when your daughters are going to graduate you will show them these photos and remember all your best friends from high school and I couldn’t be happier that I was apart of that, even if I’m behind the camera! Congrats to all of you!

Shawna+Leonard+Baby Q

On Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing a couple who came into our lives in 2006. Derek and I met Shawna and Leonard when they were looking for a wedding photographer. We became friends and see them as often as possible. It is always fun to hear about the new projects this couple is working on. They have been producing a show at The Fitz Casino in downtown Las Vegas, The Country Superstars Tribute Show for the last few years. It has been a hit.

When they told us they were expecting a baby in June, I was so ready to get them in the studio and have some fun. Shawna is a beautiful subject to photograph and we did a couple different looks.I just loved the “rocker” look, enjoy some of the images.

I am looking forward to meeting the newest Q in June. They don’t know if the baby is a boy or girl. Some things are worth waiting for.
