While Hila was raised in Las Vegas, the couple traveled from Atlanta, GA for the weekend of festivities. Hila’s mother spent the last year planning all the details and working with a team of wedding professionals including LTEvention to make the event memorable for all those in attendance. The guests danced to live music by Harbor Lights and the best Elvis in Vegas Brendan Paul. Hila had a few surprises of her own, for Robert she brought out a new banjo to play two songs she mastered in eight short weeks and for her guests a choreographed dance with her father.

The celebration lasted all night, the dessert reveal was a hit and when we departed at two a.m. the party was going strong. Each detail was wonderful from the gorgeous gown, jewelery and Cole Hahn (nike air) heels to the cake, decor and music selection. Below are just a few of the moments we captured and of course the highlight trailer from our cinema team that tells the story of the banjo and the couples love.

We wish the couple many wonderful years of laughter and love. The way they smile when next to each other or in each others arms, I feel there will be many decades of love to come. Cheers!

Really though, I do it because of weddings are one of the major life milestones. It’s an event that brings together family and friends, old and new, to celebrate love. Best of all, weddings happen all over the world. Every culture has different practices for this celebration. I love being able to learn about all these different cultures and traditions. Not very many jobs allow you to do this.

Weddings are like being invited into someone’s home. Families are inviting us into their lives and sharing their happiest moments with us. Gohar and Dean’s wedding is an Armenian wedding. For this wedding, I was invited to capture some of their Armenian traditions, something that I haven’t had the privilege to do before.

Gohar and Dean were so much fun to work with. Gohar was so excited for the day. She had choreographed the first dance herself, and it turned out to be incredible.

So this is why I love what I do. I love being the storyteller. I love being able to share these moments with all of you. So to Gohar and Dean, and to all the brides and grooms that allowed me to share their incredible day in 2009, genatz to you all!

People have been asking “how did you spend your Fourth of July?” so Derek and I thought we would post early this week, we spent our wedding with a super cool group of people at The Four Seasons Hotel. We first met Jodi and Alan last year when they started planning their Vegas wedding, then in October we met again in my familiar land- Bay Area, CA to discuss their wedding. The deal was made, we were spending the Fourth of July with this couple. After their smokin’ hot e-session in February, we couldn’t wait.

So let me start by discussing the style of this wedding, Jodi is getting close to graduating college and she is all about fashion. One name for certain, Kate Spade. She spent lots of time on the details. While this wedding was held on a holiday, there was little red, white or blue. This wedding was all about black, white and yellow. From the flowers to the tables. Of course, she did throw in a little blue- blue Kate Spade heels and handbag.

This was a wonderful wedding, as one family member put, a long time in the making. So what an event it was. The weather gave us a little break and this party went all night. We left at midnight and the group was still willing to party. Hope everyone had fun, Jodi and Alan we look forward to seeing you during our next trip to the Bay.
