A few weeks back I received a call from Krisitina looking to do maternity photos. She is having twins! When she called I was so excited because Mike and I had the honor of photographing her wedding, so I couldn’t be happier to be apart of the next huge step in her life. Kristina is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I honestly felt like I was photographing a model the whole time. She was so open and willing to do anything, it really made the photos beautiful. Thank you Kristina for choosing Digs once again. I can’t wait to do some newborn photos with your baby boy and girl!

Maternity Portraits.Las Vegas Nevada. Amanda and Tracy

Let me re-introduce Amanda and Tracy. They were married on 07/08/09 in California. After the great experience they had with our team, Amanda knew when the time came, maternity portraits were a must. So imagine our surprise, when they called to let us know they were expecting a baby girl. Since Mike was busy with his world travels, I had the opportunity to photograph this wonderful couple who couldn’t be more excited for the baby’s arrival. Thank you for letting me capture this special time and thank you Tracy for being a good sport and showing a “little” skin and the pregnancy weight you have acquired. I am looking forward to the call any time now for the newborn session.

I love collaboratively creative portrait session’s like Lisa’s. They decided to do their maternity portraits at the Neon Boneyard with the fantastic idea to use the images to set the tone for their Vegas themed nursery. I think they have set a new trend and I am now a huge fan!

Last week Derek and I got to shoot something a little different. Rhiannon had already done Shawna’s Maternity photos. But a few weeks after she got her belly painted and wanted us to take a few photos. I thought it was awesome. Such a fun idea. She was very brave to go down to the Las Vegas sign with a bare tummy but it was well worth it. I hope you love the photos Shawna!

When Kristen contacted me I was so excited because I have never done a maternity shoot before. We are not strangers to them at Digs, but this was a new experience for me.
I have always wanted to so I couldn’t be happier that I was able to finally do one. I wanted to keep it very natural in her home and she was an awesome model! She is 6 months pregnant with TWINS, and the perfect size for the shoot. Her and Taylor are going to make great parents and I can’t wait to get my hands, well camera, on their new baby boy and girl when they come in May! I hope you love your photos Kristin and thank you for giving me the opportunity to take such beautiful photos.

I couldn’t have had more fun photographing an expecting mommy and family. The twins will be welcomed in to a very warm and fun loving family. I can’t wait to meet the new babies and I wish Haydee a safe and swift delivery!

Ashley seems to be one of those mom’s who takes everything in stride and embraces being a mother wholeheartedly. She was absolutely glowing as she prepared for the new little one to come in to the world with this maternity session. Cassidy seemed ready to meet her new baby sister too and was an absolute doll for her portraits with mom. Donya+Robert – I’m on a boat!

Not many people know this, but I always thought that it would be pretty cool to film a bride getting ready while traveling to their big day in a very cool, edgy, rock star kind of way.

I am happy to be able to cross boat off that list! (To all the future brides out there, car and airplane are still in the running!)

We filmed Donya and Robert’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. I knew that after speaking with Donya that this was going to be an event like no other! I knew we had to really bring it. On the night before the wedding Sean, Adam, and I talked about how we would tell this story. When we looked through our notes and saw that they had bobble heads as cake toppers we thought it would be cool to go for a roaming gnome feel. Let me know what you think!

Shawna+Leonard+Baby Q

On Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing a couple who came into our lives in 2006. Derek and I met Shawna and Leonard when they were looking for a wedding photographer. We became friends and see them as often as possible. It is always fun to hear about the new projects this couple is working on. They have been producing a show at The Fitz Casino in downtown Las Vegas, The Country Superstars Tribute Show for the last few years. It has been a hit.

When they told us they were expecting a baby in June, I was so ready to get them in the studio and have some fun. Shawna is a beautiful subject to photograph and we did a couple different looks.I just loved the “rocker” look, enjoy some of the images.

I am looking forward to meeting the newest Q in June. They don’t know if the baby is a boy or girl. Some things are worth waiting for.
