Class of ’11 – Leticia and Liliana

Our most recent seniors Leticia and Liliana were definitely two very sassy twins, they were naturals in front of the camera. I almost thought I was shooting a fashion ad for a magazine. You wouldn’t even know that it was about 200 degrees outside. It was awesome shooting twins because I get to witness and capture how close they really are. Although they were so much alike, they were also so different, and both of their personalities definitely shined through in this shoot. I couldn’t be happier with the way these came out! Thanks girls.

Marilyn + Ken

Marilyn and Ken tied the knott over the weekend at La Valencia Resort in La Jolla, CA, and once again the entire Digs team was there to capture all the great memories from stills to reels. I am personally excited to see what the crazy cinema team has brewing because they capture events in some of the most creative ways I have seen, while offering clients, friends, and ourselves memories that extend beyond still photography….So check back soon
In the meantime, here is a few images from the weekend, we have to thank Marilyn and Ken for welcoming us to the wedding and making us feel like family. They had an amazing wedding weekend, from a rehearsal dinner overlooking La Jolla, to a wedding day filled with love and laughter. The entire team had such a great time not only being able to capture all these wonderful memories but spending time with this wonderful group of people.

Class of 2011- Shayna

Having all these senior reps has been such an amazing way for me to get out there and get my hands dirty! Lately I’ve been taking a lot of senior portraits and so far I’ve been extremely lucky with all of the models I’ve had. Our most recent one, Shayna was such an easy and fun girl to work with. She was literally game for anything I proposed. Due to her natural beauty I thought it would suit her well to go into a natural environment. She looked absolutely gorgeous in all of the pictures and I couldn’t be happier with the way my vision turned out. Thanks Shayna! you’re awesome!

Nicole+Javier | Highlights from San Fran

Let me start off again by saying I love traveling. Any time, any place, anywhere I am there! We were having so much fun in San Francisco (one of my favorite cities) with Nicole, Javier and Xavier. They were so cool and easy going and Xavier was probably one of the coolest kids we ever worked with during a wedding (check out the bottom clip).

Normally I try to pick music that I would think one of my couples has never heard before but as soon as I heard this tune for the grand entrance, I knew it would be perfect. Enjoy this awesome destination wedding.

Nikky – Class of 2011

I must say I am very happy Derek and Rhiannon threw me into shooting seniors, so far it has been awesome practice and a lot of fun. All of my senior models have been so full of energy and so easy to shoot. Our most recent senior, Nikky is graduating from Palo Verde High School this year. Her sweet and bubbly personality definitely shined through in the pictures. She had such an inviting smile which I personally think looks gorgeous in all of her photos. We had fun roaming around downtown, while people watching at the same time. Thank you Nikky for being such a great model, I had a blast and I hope you love your images!

Heather+Dave | Love in pasadena

Their is nothing I enjoy more the escaping the Vegas heat now and again, but when I get to escape to film a wedding It makes it so much better. Derek, Rhi, Grady and I enjoyed this wedding so much. Heather and Dave were so easy going and there family was so welcoming to us. We really felt like we were family.

Alisha and John just got hitched over at Little Church of the West and although I couldn’t photograph their wedding ceremony, I was there for the fun stuff. Soon as I met these two I could tell that they were warm people, lots of fun, and they shared my love of wine. I had a blast hanging with friends and family including dinner at Brio at Town Square – and we couldn’t leave without making a little mess (see below… sorry Brio staff!!) The good times kept rolling at their suite at Mandalay Bay… much thanks for the Jamieson! Here’s Alisha and John, enjoy everybody!

Class of 2011 – Johnna

Over the past weekend I was quite the busy little assistant. Being a senior we thought it would be fun if I photographed people my own age. On Monday a couple of us photographers got together and had a fun in studio senior shoot. We played around with lighting and posing and had a blast while doing it. Johnna, our vibrant and gorgeous model definitely made the shoot a lot of fun for me. We wanted the shoot to have more of a vintage look and I would have to say they came out exactly how I had in visioned them. Thanks to Lisette at L Make up Institute Johnna really had a vintage look. Photographing my senior friends has been an awesome experience so far, I can not wait to do more! Thanks Johnna for all the beautiful photos and fun!

Another New Fun thing that we got to play around with were Tarrah’s silhouettes. We are now offering them to seniors. We think its a fun little add on to your senior pics that no one else is going to have. In this example its me photographing Johnna. I absolutely love them!

Class of 2011 – Taylor

The other day I went out on my first official Senior shoot. I had an absolute blast! Not only was I shooting one of my good friends, but I also got to switch roles with my very bossy photographer Mike and he got to assist me for the day. Taylor was one of the easiest people to photograph, she was definitely a natural in front of the camera. Not to mention she had many heads turned giving us an audience through out the whole shoot. Thanks to her natural beauty and Mikes guidance I think we got some really cool shots. This shoot made me very excited to shoot seniors and I can’t wait for my next one! Thanks Taylor and Congrats on making it to Senior Year!

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve seen Courtney & Brian and the rest of the family since their wedding. Their backyard wedding is still one of my favorites and we love showing their wedding album to all our clients. This time we met at the gardens at Summerlin for portrait session with all the siblings, spouses and Bob the family dog. It was a surprise for Courtney’s mom on her birthday. We had a blast in the park, especially once the sun started to go down in the blazing Vegas summer. I thought I’d show a few photos off. I hope mom loves them.
