Sara and George had a day that will always be remembered by our team. Everything from fun personalities of the wedding party to the surprise firework show, the whole day was a success. Special thanks to Shelly at Canyon Gate Country Club for making this day go without a hitch and always keeping us taken care of. This Highlight shows off how much fun this group was and the beauty of the whole day. Enjoy.

Areli+Matt | The Highlight

Filming outdoors in the Fall season always provides for awesome lighting and great weather. Matt and Areli’s day at Green Valley Ranch was no exception. I remember leaving this event talking about how great this celebration was. Brit Bertino and Simply Weddings made sure that everything was perfect. This film I think is a good representation of how great this couple is and shows off how much they love each other. I look forward to working on their Feature Film.

Nicole + Sam | The Highlight

Nicole and Sam really know how to put together a good wedding. The JW Marriott made for a fantastic backdrop both outdoors for the ceremony and indoors for the reception. The ceremony, which was officiated by Reverend Linda was meaningful and really showcased a lot of Nicole and Sam’s personality. The reception was a nonstop party with something for everyone. I consider myself lucky to have been able to spend the day with them and capture all of their special moments along with the rest of the Digs team (Mike & Asha) for their photos. I enjoyed working on this highlight and feel like it captured how great Nicole and Sam’s wedding was.

Areli and Matt. Married Green Valley Ranch. Las Vegas Wedding Photography

Areli and Matt, what an amazing day the couple had at Green Valley Ranch, and what an amazing place to have a cocktail reception, the resorts day pool, The Pond. Brit Bertino, of Simply Weddings once again did an amazing job of not only coordinating the days events, but planning all the little details that made the day so memorable. The grooms impromptu “Ice Ice Baby” reenactment had everyone in tears with laughter, while other guest danced freely in the pond..what a site..what a night. I am also extremely excited to see what our cinema team will put together, because there were so many great moments that were just made to be seen on the big screen.
Areli and Matt, you two were great to hang out with, and thank you for having Digs be a part of your wonderful day. PHOTO HIGHLIGHTS!

Tracey+Jeff | The Highlight

I have always considered myself a huge sports fan, but Tracey and Jeff proved that I have been coming up a bit short in my fan status. Everyone that attended this awesome event were not only there for the wedding. They also were celebrating the biggest game of the year so far for the Nebraska Cornhusker football team. The Bellagio Grand Patio made a great location for all the football fans to enjoy the game on big screens. This event went off without a hitch thanks to Green Orchid Events and Enchanted Florist. Big thanks go out to Tracey and Jeff for letting me be part of your day.

I am a HUGE college football fan, and besides my wife, family, photography, and perhaps a nice glass of wine their are few things I truly love more than watching college football. As in life, however, I found their are even bigger fans of college football than myself. Take Tracy and Jeff for example, big Nebraska Cornhusker football fans, so big in fact they had two 50 inch plasma’s brought into their reception so nobody would miss one snap of Nebraska’s first Big Ten Conference game against Wisconsin, a game that ultimately could have national title implications. Unfortunately, the game did not turn out the way the couple and the rest of the die hard Nebraska fans had hoped, but the party had to go on. And go on it did…Complete with dancing on Bellagio’s Grand Patio, Elvis, gourmet food stations, beer, wine, and specialty cocktails. It was an absolutely gorgeous evening and the couple could not have been more fun to hang out and photograph, we wish the two of you the best. I giant shout also needs to go out to Angelica and her staff of Green Orchid Events for making sure every detail of the day went off without a hitch, an amazing job as usual….And for an extended highlight check out Tracey and Jeff’s slideshow.

Michelle+Stephen | The Highlight

Being able to travel and see new wedding venues is always exciting. Michelle and Stephen’s day in Genoa NV did not disappoint. The Orchard House was beautiful place to capture a wedding and left us wanting more of that awesome light it provided. The combination of the venue and this awesome couple made for a ton of choices for a film. This Highlight only captures a few of the parts of the great weekend. Stephen and Michelle you guys rock. I hope my wedding day can have as much character as yours did. It was my pleasure working with you guys. Im excited to work on your feature film.

Grady goes to Germany| Timo+Sahar

Last month I was blessed to get the chance to capture Timo and Sahar’s amazing wedding in Germany and the events leading up to their special day. Doing a destination wedding is one of the biggest perks of being in this business. Being able to travel across to world to film is above and beyond what I ever expected when I first started filming. I have to thank Timo and his family soo much for taking me in as their own and feeding me nonstop. While I was there I took a little time away from filming and shot a few photos. The photos I am posting are mostly from the last day of wine tasting and gift opening. I had a great time exploring Germany with the family and I can’t wait to catch up with me new friends at the reception/party on September 24th here in Las Vegas.

Michelle and Stephen. Wedding Photography

One of the biggest and most gratifying complements we get in our business as photographers is having past clients refer their friends and family our way, and in the case of Michelle and Stephen, it was both a referral and a first hand experience working with both Rhiannon and myself. Stephen was a groomsmen in a wedding we had the privilege of photographing a couple years back, Missy and Peter, who had a wonderful wedding celebration on their family estate in Lovelock NV. The cool thing about that is that they too were referrals from yet another one of our favorite past clients Rebecca and Clint who got hitched at Incline Village in Tahoe. Realizing that I used the same song for both of their wedding slideshows, I figured I would change it up for Michelle and Stephen and their sneak peak show. I also have to say, that I think Rhiannon’s sequence of the couple’s first look was absolutely amazing, below, some of my favorite images of the entire day.
Michelle and Stephen also incorporated Digs Cinema into their package, and I am excited to see how Grady and Jimmy put all of their great footage, conversations, setup, and speeches into the couples wedding story. I also want to give a big shout out to the Orchard House, what a great venue for a wedding, and Betsy and Randy the property owners were so great to work with.
Michelle and Stephen, you two are an absolutely wonderful couple, and I know I speak for the entire Digs team when I say it was an absolute blast being a small part of your wedding weekend. We can not wait to hang out again, hopefully sometime soon.

Crystal and Steve – Siena Golf Club Las Vegas Wedding Photography

After photography Crystal and Steve’s e-session some time back we knew we would be having a great time with the couple on their wedding day. All the stars were out for this one, Enchanted Florist did an amazing job on the flowers, LTEventions set up an amazing beer garden and reception hall, yes beer garden, and the always professional, super awesom staff that organized, planned, and executed this amazing flawless day Green Orchid Events. It was a pleasure being a part of this line up, and even more of a pleasure working again with Crystal and Steve. I do not think there was a dry eye, including some of the photographers, not mentioning names, throughout this amazing ceremony and events. Crystal and Steve, we wish you too all the best, and will look forward to toasting and sharing our August 26th anniversary with you every year. Slideshow Here
