Pamela and Chris are tying the knot at The Purple Orchid Inn Wine Country Resort and Spa in Livermore, CA in August and after spending an afternoon photographing the couple I have to say I am already excited about their big day. Not only did they look great together, but they both have such amazing characters, and it was not hard to figure out that they both live life to the fullest everyday. I don’t think everyone can say that. Pamela and Chris, it truly was a joy and we will look forward to your upcoming party, hope you enjoy a few of the many hundreds of images taken.

Baby Emmanual.

Meet baby Emmanual, this little guy is always smiling and laughing, and with his good looks and his wonderful family he has a lot to smile about, that is for sure. Emmanual had a very busy day, not only did he get baptized he also threw one great party for his friends and family. Lots of food, dancing, gifts and cake, what more could a kid ever want.

To all of Emmanual’s family thank you for having Rhi and I part of your day, enjoy a few of the images and slideshow here.

Alicia and Miles. E-session California Style

Alicia and Miles are tying the knott next year at The Purple Orchid Wine Country Resort and Spa, in Livermore CA, and Rhi and I had the privilege of photographing their engagement session. Not only was the December weather absolutely perfect, but the leaves had not yet fallen on many of the surrounding vineyards, which made for some spectacular backdrops. And what can I say about this awesome couple, not only did they look great in front of the camera, but they were a blast to hang out with. Enjoy a few of the images.

Digs Studio has been privileged to be a part of one of the valley’s great organization over the past few years, Candlelighters, and the entire studio definitely receives much more than we could possibly give from this organization. Through the organization we have also had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, like Randi and Rob, and when the opportunity came to photograph their beautiful family we obviously could not wait. Their three year old daughter, Parker, was and is absolutely adorable and just full of fun and life, so it was not difficult getting a smile out of her. It was great just catching up with some of our great new friends Randi and Rob, thank you for the wonderful morning. Here are a few of the images from the day,enjoy!

Sara and George. Canyon Gate Country Club

Sara and George had an over the top wedding at Canyon Gate Country Club, full of great friends and family, a beautiful fall day, tear jerking dances and toast, fireworks and even late night snacks of french fries, hotdogs and sliders. Shelly Sampson, last years wedding professional of the year, did an absolutely amazing job of coordinating the day, which makes our job of capturing the day just that much easier. And what can I say about the newlyweds, not only did they plan and execute such a great day for their friends and family to enjoy, they were a great couple to photograph, hang out with, and it was a blast just being a part of their big day. Baby Mila is very special to the studio, much like she is to her wonderful parents, Shantell and Rob. One amazing thing that we do not take for granite as a studio is the loyalty of our clients and friends. We were their when Rob and Shan tied the knot in Puerto Vallarta, photographed the couples maternity images, and know, we are having the opportunity to photograph their loving, adorable, daughter. Along the way we also happened to have the opportunity to take in a few of the couples legendary lua pool parties, so Rob and Shan are more than just loyal customers, they are great people and friends, and we are so excited about their new family. Jocelyn + Marvin. Married. Las Vegas Wedding Photography

As Rhiannon and I are expanding our studio to Northern California the only thing that has been really keeping us sane is the things we know and enjoy most, and that is photographing people, events, and weddings. So to say we had a great time working with Jocelyn and Marvin on their wedding would be an understatement. Not only was the couple and bridal party so enjoyable to work with, we were able to tour a little bit of the city to capture some amazing images, our favorite part of every wedding, bridal portraits.
The couple also had an amazing reception at TI, Sound Fusion did an amazing job keeping the party alive all night long, and our friends at Shutter Booth provided each guest with a fun take-home picture from the photobooth. It was truly a memorable day, and one I am sure everyone will remember through all the images taken throughout the day. Since there were so many guest with camera’s, which in our opinion is a good thing, I imagine Jocelyn and Marvin will be overloaded with wedding images, how exciting.So here is how Rhiannon and I saw the day, I will be interested in viewing what amazing images other guest may have captured. Jessica + Rob. Married DragonRidge. Las Vegas Wedding Photography

Rhiannon and I had been looking forward to Jessica and Rob’s wedding from the first time Jess walked into our studio some 9 months ago. Some couples you can just tell immediately how full of life, love, and laughter, they are, not to mention how genuine they are together and to others. Having the opportunity to hang out with them a few times before their big day only solidified our initial intuitions, and on their wedding day we felt more like friends and family rather than just another wedding photographer.

The couple had an amazing event at DragonRidge, coordinated by one of the valley’s best, Carrie Key. The ceremony site and event center were decorated beautifully by Floral 2000, and Kevin Cordova of DJ’s to You brought it in his usual fashion, keeping the dance floor full all evening while incorporating his special touches for the couple, friends and family to enjoy. It was truly an amazing, heartfelt evening and I am really excited to show a few of the images we captured. Here is a quick slideshow that we also put together, hope you enjoy.
Jessica and Rob, you two are amazing, thank you for making the entire team feel so welcome. We will look forward to our next get together hopefully sometime soon.

Julie and Pam. Married. Niagara Falls, NY

Last week was just an awesome week, it started with a quick trip to Buffalo NY, Niagara Falls to be exact for the ceremony of Julie and Pam. The amazing couple were so much fun to hang out with, and they could not have chosen a nicer location to say their I do’s. After the ceremony, Julie and Pam showed Grady, Asha, and myself all the beautiful spots around the falls. While the couple played tour guide Asha and I had the opportunity to not only see much of the sites but we were able to create some beautiful images. I can not wait to see Asha’s post, coming soon. Julie and Pam, thank you for having Digs be a part of your day, you two rock.

Jackie and Lance. E-session Las Vegas wedding photography

Meet Jackie and Lance, what a phenomenal couple, not only did they look great behind the camera they were such a blast to hang out with. We ventured to Boulder City, one of our favorite Las Vegas escapes to hang and photograph, and during one of our stops for cold refreshments we stumbled upon Grandma Daisy’s an awesome little ice cream and candy parlor, where we were able to capture some great candid moments, some of my favorites from the day. This little gem is definitely worth the trip to Boulder City alone, and although I know this little stop was not beneficial to the couples family “challenge” it sure was worth the trip. As always we hope you enjoy a few of the images, and we truly can not wait for Jackie an Lance’s wedding day. Cheers
