Let’s face it, sometimes weddings just don’t go as planned. 6 months of planning can go right down the drain when nature wills it. When Mt. Charleston caught ablaze in a wildfire last Thursday it was a no-go for Baylee and Nick’s plan to be married at the Mt. Charleston Hotel. With some open-hearted understanding and quick hustle by Harriett and company at the JW Marriott, Plan B was in action and the wedding was a beautiful, if not memorable, last minute success.
Props must be tossed to Bill, Baylee’s father, and hero of the day for taking charge and making it all happen. And you got to hand it to Baylee and Nick who were so cool, so accepting of the moment and enjoyed every moment of their big day. And now they’re famous – check out the link here from their story on Channel 13.
And in the end I think it’s a testament to never let anything stand in the way of love, not even a raging fire.
