Hello everyone, this is my first post on our blog. I have been working for Digs for the last year and have really enjoyed becoming part of the team. A few weekends ago I got a chance to be the lead cinematographer at Trish and Chad’s wedding and I am so excited to present my first highlight reel!
While Jason was busy filming Stephanie and Drew’s wedding, I got the pleasure to team up with Ary Dalton a local Cinematographer. I really enjoyed learning from Ary and watching him work. He taught me a lot about being creative and was a great partner.
The day started at the beautiful Grace In the Desert Episcopal Church in Summerlin, then we traveled up to Mount Charleston. This was my first experience on the mountain. It provides an experience much different then the usual city feel that most Vegas venues provide. Mount Charleston has so many places to film new ideas and a great wilderness backdrop. The food was great and the drinks kept everyone dancing all night.
The bride and groom traveled to Las Vegas from Texas, together with family and friends the laughs kept coming all day and all night long. The best thing about incorporating film into your wedding, is the ability to have the sound bites. We get to learn all about our couples relationships through the toasts and family comments. There were a few moments were I almost lost it behind the camera, thankfully I did not lose it and got some awesome shots from their wedding.
I hope you enjoy this film as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Best of luck Trish and Chad, I hope we meet again!
