Hello All,
Dennis and I had a fabulous belated honeymoon and we wanted to share a few of our adventures with you. Thank you all including the Digs Studio team for making it possible for us to take off from work for a week and spend some much needed time together after Dennis’s return from deployment.
We took our honeymoon on a cruise sailing through Mexico. In Puerta Vallarta we enjoyed the beautiful beach, tasted the home brewed Tequila in a couple local tequila factories and drove past the Gringo Gulch where Elizabeth Taylor once lived. We spent a day fishing in Mazatlan where I caught my first fish ever, a marlin. The marlin was ten feet long and weighed about 80 pounds. Now I owe my husband a fishing trip so he can catch a Marlin too! We browsed the shops in Cabo San Lucas and enjoyed a quick Snuba dive. This was my first real diving experience and much to Dennis’s delight I plan to get certified in order to dive with him more in the future. We hope you enjoy the pictures and we hope to see you all soon!

The lobby of our cruise ship, Carnival Splendor, was beautiful with it’s copper and pink decor.

Dona Engracia was the first of two tequila factories we toured and learned about the process of making tequila.

The Agave plants’ roots used to make tequila before the process begins.

The smaller tequila factory, Agave Leyva, uses the older fire pit method to cook the agave roots.

A small chapel in Puerta Vallarta.

A beautiful cathedral located near the Gringo Gulch in Puerta Vallarta.

Dennis and I with my very first catch, an amazing 10 foot long marlin.
