Why I Love What I Do!

I received this email last night and I was so touched by these kind words from Allan and Jen. They were such an amazing couple to work with. Not only now do I know that I have an extremely satisfied couple, but now I know I have just made some really good friends. Thank you two so much! You are the reason I work so hard to produce films that I do: to not just capture the day, but capture the the real you.

To Jason, Rhiannon, Derek, and the entire Digs Studio Family:

Allan and I just wanted to say “Thank you” again for the masterpiece of a film you created for our wedding, but as I type those words, they don’t seem enough.

Jason, it really feels like we have known you for years, though in reality it’s only been months. I still don’t know how you did it – how you got our personalities so perfectly after meeting with us only a few times prior to the actual wedding. You were an absolute pleasure to have around, and we both feel as though we’ve found a genuine friend in you. How you flawlessly captured every emotion and detail of our wedding while at the same time being so unobtrusive is something to marvel. Nothing compares with the amazing footage you captured from the most important day in our life together. You love your work, and it shows!

It’s been less than a week since our film was hand-delivered right to our doorstep, and I’ve watched the video several times already – tearing up each time because the film is that beautiful! When we were in the initial stages of the wedding planning process, we were hesitant to devote a piece of what little of a budget we had toward cinematography. In the end we decided to invest, and to say that I am INCREDIBLY GLAD that we did is an understatement. To this day, we are still getting compliments on the wedding teaser, love story, and same day edit that you created for us; and we know it won’t be too long till we get even more as we present the final feature to our family and friends! Thank you Digs Studio, a million times over. As we create our own little family in the near future, expect to see more of us … We’d love to have you capture life’s special moments for us again!
