Happy Friday! What a great day since tomorrow means lots of fun at work. Today I thought I would share why I am in this business of photography. Perhaps this will have you think a little about what you do- Enjoy!
I’m passionate about what I do because…
moments captured in our lives show the inner person that we are. Being a part of someone’s wedding, it a tremendous honor that I as a photographer feel blessed to be a part of. An image is a way to bring back a memory or moment in time, without images one can describe the event or the details, but it is left up to the imagination to see.
I grew up in a home where images were cherished, from generations past and present. It gave us a way to remember those family members who were no longer with us. As a young girl I was introduced to my grandmother through images on our walls and in albums. Stories were told and we got to feel like she was a part of our lives. That was so powerful. As other family members have passed away I know that I will be able to introduce them to future generations through images.
I’m passionate about what I do because…
each client and project is different. I might photograph primarily weddings, but each wedding is representing two people. This gives me a challenge each week to capture the client in a moment as they are.
