Time flies when you get to share in the lives of so many great families. One of the best things about being a photographer is getting to watch families grow. With a number of our clients, they came to our studio when they were planning their wedding, then returned to capture the joyous occasions each year since.
Last July, 7 eleven to be exact, Ryan and Angela welcomed little Elliana into their lives. I visited the first week and photographed her newborn session. Throughout the year we have tried to stay in touch and watch Elliana grow. When Angela called to schedule her one year portrait session, I could not believe 365 days had passed so quickly.
They met us Sunday after our stormy Las Vegas day and we enjoyed spending time with them. It is so funny with children, you can photograph them for a good 20-30 minutes before they realize you have a camera. She was no different, walking around the park and doing her thing. Once we got to posing a little, she gave a brilliant smile. Treats were deserved all around. So we ended the shoot with gelato.
