The Studio had another awesome weekend of both photo and cinema, and after our weekly in-studio critique of the weekends hard work we are going to have a lot to show off in the next couple of days. As for Rhiannon and myself, we escaped the first 100+ weekend temperatures for a much more pleasant Northern Nevada. However, our routine 1 hour flight to Reno was anything but…. We were scheduled for an 11:55 departure, but appearantly because of UNR’s graduation, SWA had overbooked every flight for the day, and we got bumped off our flight, with the promise of getting on the next available ….which turned out to be at 9:30, (ten hours later) that night, a long long long day at the airport. However, once we arrived on Missy’s family Lovelock ranch the next day, we new we were in for an exciting day of photography.
The Ranch itself has been in Safford family for over a century, so it had a very special meaning for the Bride, and we wanted to make sure we incorportated as much of that history into the photos as we could. The ceremony site itself was on the location of the old farm house, with feilds of alfalfa on the horizon. An absolutly amazing place for a ceremony, that gathered Missy and Peters closest friends and family. The beautiful spring evening was ideal for an outside, tented reception. Dancing in the driveway, and eating great country BBQ concluded an amazing wedding day!!! Thank you Missy and Peter for having Rhi and a be a part of your day! Enjoy a quick peak of a few of the days images…
